Вот, что нашел, но мне лично не помогло...
Please read before asking questions!!!
The Crash To Desktop (CTD). Can be caused by many things in VC mainly Graphics related (Im looking into other areas). It could be due to your graphics card being integrated and not enough RAM or it could be down to your gfx card just not being able to support the game engine.
For Integrated Cards without enough RAM id suggest downloading a Ram boosting utility like RAMTurbo, This will free up ram on your computer to allow your computer to operate faster.
For those cards not being able to run the game properly PLEASE check the minimum system requirements and make sure your card meets as closely as possible to them, it may be your card just cant handle the game properly. For this the only suggestion I can give you is to upgrade your gfx card :\.
Now when posting please include these details:
(Use Start > Run > DxDiag to find info)
RAM:
Graphics Card:
Integrated?:
System Crash Log:
Start > My computer > HDD > Program Files > Voyage Century > Voyage > System, Copy and paste here.
If you do all this in your first post we can get back to you allot faster and help solve your problem (if possible)

Okay just to explain this to people. Lets take my computer for example:
CPU: Pentium 4 2.5Ghz
RAM: 256MB
Graphics: SiS_650 32MB (Integrated)
DirectX: 9.0c
Okay, I log onto my computer and the moment I start it up my graphics card takes 32MB of RAM to run itself. Then of course Im running Windows XP SP2 which in reality should have 512MB of memory to run at full effectiveness which means my computer uses up even more memory to help run that. After that Ive got my Antivirus taking up RAM, my firewall and all other programs. Now that usually leave me with as little as 32MB of RAM FREE!, "That Tiny amount to run VC!?!?!" I hear you scream, well that is why the game crashes for me. this should give you a rough idea of why its not the games problem but your graphics card.
(P.S. AOL users with broadband who use the AOL program, the program draws masses of memory, Ill post a solution here for you later that will Automatically connect you to AOL broadband after signing on without having to use the AOL software)
As Promised:

28/1/2007:
Please try updating your sound card drivers and getting back to me as I have seen allot of crash errors with sound errors in them.
30/1/2007:
After upgrading my graphics card and Ram I no longer experience CTD. However I will continue to assist to the best of my ability.

After reading Drakemoores post I think I know whats happening.
(Linky:
http://www.voyagecenturyonline.com/forum/v...opic.php?t=9818 ). Most people who experience CTD have the "initializing Dx8" in the code, which may be because their card isnt built to handle all DX9 capable games. It makes sense then that the card tries to run it at DX8 level, where the error Drakemoore spotted comes in and causes the CTD. Would all peeps please try this and if it works be sure to fill Drakes Inbox with gratitude ^^.
